Jeremy's Just-Discovered Contribution To 'Ghostly Encounters: True Tales of the Ghouls, Spooks and Spectres in the Lives of the Famous,' Another Book For A Charitable Cause -- You'll Only See It Here!

by Astrid St. Aubyn, Robson Books Ltd.

[Webmaster's Note: 'Ghostly Encounters' is an entertaining volume of celebrity anecdotes gathered from a multitude of aristocrats including The Earl Spencer, cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, authors Rumer Godden and Dame Barbara Cartland, and actors Tom Conti, Roy Dotrice, Edward Woodward, Donald Sinden and Sir John Mills. All royalties from the sale of the book are donated to the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund. Herewith, Jeremy's entry:]

My father used to own the mill at Hardwick on the River Windrush. A close friend, who had been my first nanny, was staying one night in the little spare room, when she was wakened by what she described as a presence -- a little girl begging her to come to the mill race as something terrible had happened. Being a timid soul she remained beneath the covers. This is my only experience of a ghostly happening.
