In Marrakech, Jeremy Irons and Claude Lelouch didn't hesitate to play truant from the festival and take a walk in the market places. If they wished to pass by unnoticed, they failed!

Claude Lelouch and Jeremy Irons haven't hesitated to mingle with the crowd that, day and night, occupies the Jemâa El-Fna Square, famous for its snake charmers, musicians and fortune tellers. Certainly, for Claude Lelouch the future is the release of his new film "And Now Ladies and Gentlemen..." Irishman (sic) Jeremy Irons shares star billing with singer Patricia Kaas, whose first appearance this is on the big screen. Lelouche chose Morocco to shoot his film, a country he considers, like many other foreign film makers, to be the kingdom... of natural scenery. The Festival of Marrakech paid tribute to the director of "Un Homme et Une Femme" (A Man and a Woman) by presenting him with a trophy. With modesty he promised to place it between his Golden Palm from Cannes and his Oscars.
