STAR of Brideshead Revisited Jeremy Irons has just returned hot from a trek across the Himalayas.
The well-preserved 52-year-old actor spent 15 days trekking through Northern Nepal. His journey was organised by Wotton-Under-Edge firm Himalayan Kingdoms.
On a trip arranged as a private itinerary, Jeremy and his wife Sinead Cusack explored the tiny and remote Kingdom of Mustang.
Jeremy said: "It was delightful that during all those days of walking we only passed one other trek.
"Our trek was tough enough to make you feel you had met a challenge, yet extraordinarily beautiful - a trip back to the 17th Century."
