![]() £50,000 Price Tag On Cast-offs From The Stars by Syrie Johnson, The Evening Standard (London) Jeremy Irons popped in to see his fellow castle owner Henry Dent-Brocklehust at Sudeley on Sunday evening for a "celebrity car boot sale". He was most keen to bid for his own Armani jacket, but was beaten to it by a keen lady fan. "I just hope he hasn't washed it," she swooned. More than 850 people packed the catwalk parade held in the grounds of Sudeley Castle yesterday, which was compered by supermodel Caprice. Screen star Jeremy Irons and Virgin tycoon Richard Branson's daughter Holly were among the high society figures mingling with castle owner Henry Dent-Brocklehurst. The event raised GBP 118,000 for cancer research. If you'd ever had a burning desire to own Posh Spice's leather jacket, the place to be was Sudeley Castle Winchcombe, near Cheltenham where a Star Jumble Sale raised funds for the Carey Dickinson Cancer Campaign. Dozens of celebrities including Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Stella McCartney, Joanna Lumley, Ewan McGregor, Imran Khan, Liz Hurley and Geri Halliwell donated items for the event. Kate Moss donated a Chloe shirt while Elizabeth Hurley gave a Versace bag. Tony Blair's tie designed for his European Union presidency fetched the lowest amount, £55, even with a tie from Lord Archer of Weston-super-Mare thrown in. The donated items also included shoes from David Beckham, Sir Elton John's green silk tail coat, a black stage coat embroidered with a silver star donated by singer Carly Simon and a Jade Jagger camisole. The highlight of the evening was a fashion show with models including Mr Dent-Brocklehurst's wife, Hawaiian born Lili Maltese, and Richard Branson's daughter Holly. Another star of the show was Jeremy Irons's 13-year-old son Max, who strutted Rolling Stone-style to model a shirt donated and signed by drummer Charlie Watts.
