Most of us doodle everyday without thinking about its meaning but for the first time ever those insignificant scribbles can create a lasting legacy. Already more than 300 personalities from the worlds of sport, entertainment, theatre, business and politics, led by Doodle Day patron, Terry Wogan, have joined forces to support the initiative, which will embrace the whole country from school children to business people. A host of famous names, including Sir Elton John, Jeremy Irons, Cherie Blair, Twiggy, Sir Richard Branson, Claudia Schiffer, Manolo Blahnik, Sarah, Duchess of York, and children’s characters The Tweenies and the Teletubbies, have already produced their doodles for the campaign.
